The new GM spindle is used to put the rotor in the correct position for the calipers to work properly.
Why supply new spindles? I'm guessing they have smaller O.D. to fit inside the caliper bracket. If that's the case, can I machine my stock 6 bolt spindles to fit? Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit | Dana 30/44 | 66-75 Ford Bronco
