Yes you will need to weld, and grind to fit. As far as the glove box you won't lose access but most people do the install in a way that limits the glove box door from folding down all the way. There is a trick to modify the glove box hinges so the door can open, slid over and open the rest of the way. Find it on Broncohio website. http://www.broncohio.com/tech/glovebo...
