I purchased shocks in the hood along with a fiberglass hood for my 1971 bronco. The problem im having is the hood in flexing when it is closed. The struts are pushing up on it. I dont know if it is a deluxe fiberglass or regular fiberglass hood. I purchased these about four years ago and its been this way since new. Are the steel hood struts weaker than the fiberglass ones? Do you sell a weaker strut?

Both steel and our deluxe hoods weigh about the same. The Shox N The Hood kits are hood specific due to mounting brackets for each style. They use the same strength shocks.
