I have a 1969 and am getting ready to install an AOD in place of a 3spd column shift. I would like to keep the stock steering wheel. Can this column be used on a '69? If so, what will have to be modified?

The early wheel can be used, but the horn will not work. You may find or figure a way to modify the wiring or wheel to make it work, but we do not have instructions to do so. You will also still need to address the connection to the steering box. The Direct fit column has a 3/4 - 36 sline connection.
