You do not need different u-bolts. When tightened, they will follow the contour of the tubing, and hold tight.
Since the Axle tubes are a smaller 3, does that mean we need to use smaller diameter U bolts when installing the leaf springs? I noticed your heavy duty Ubolt set uses 3 1/4 wide U bolts Super 9 Ford 9-inch Housing | Large Bearing | 66-77 Ford Bronco
