The Dakota uses a vehicle speed sensor, and send a signal to the gauge. No cable is used, but you will use a stock speedometer gear on their VSS sending unit.
I have a 1975 Bronco. I want to upgrade the guage. My question is, Does the speedometer require the use of the factory speedo cable from the output shaft on the transfer case or elsewhere?
