My stock lower alternator bracket runs very close to the lower radiator hose. Is this alternator the same center to center bolt pattern as the stock alternator on my old '67 with a 302 engine? Will be a clearance problem if it is larger. Thank you.

The bolt spread is wider than the stock alternator. If you have a 2 piece alternator bracket like our #6007, then we would not expect any issue.
